Update from TWCCA re: "Boil Water" notices (4/3/26)
Some Teronda residents have received "Boil Water" notices. This is due to a contractor breaking a water line that feeds parts of Teronda, Mitchell, and Sycamore.
The boil water is a standard safety precaution that is issued whenever there is a line break. To be clear, there has been no coli contamination so far detected, but we are waiting on the results from the final analysis. NWNaturals hopes to get the results back later today, but it may not be until Monday, unfortunately. At that point we will know if we need to treat the system or not, and whether the boil water order can be lifted. You will be notified as soon as we get the results back.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Amanda Ford
TWCCA President
Water Rates Reminder (1/4/26)
Per quarter, water billing is $110. The base rate per quarter covers 15k gallons per quarter. If one uses more than that they are charged 0.005 cents/gallon. (These rates are accurate as of 1/1/26, subject to future updates.)
UPDATE - Water Usage (10/19/25)
NW Naturals has come out to evaluate the system. Everything is operational, with adequate reserve in the main water tank. You may resume water usage.
Those who are downstream of the hydrant location may experience some brown water. Run your taps until clear before using the water.

URGENT - Water Usage 10/19/25
Due to a major house fire in the community, hydrants have drained the water tank reserves. The power is also out in portions of the community.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you keep water usage to a bare minimum until the tanks have time to refill from our community wells. Otherwise debris is pulled into the system and will require extensive maintenance and cleaning work.
NW Naturals, our water management company, has been contacted.
